I believe in the sun, even when it is not shining,
I believe in love, even when I am lonely
I believe in love, even when feeling it not
I believe in God, even when He is silent
I believe through any trial there is always a way.
- Above text was found on a basement wall in Cologne, Germany and was written by an anonymous poet hiding from the Gestapo.
Courtney is part of Southeastern University's Concert Choir and performed this evening along with about a hundred of her music major peers. At one point they sang Johnathan Adams', I Believe in the Sun. The whole concert was fantastic, but this piece was especially wonderful.
My music tastes are eclectic, and tend more towards the modern, but these one-hundred young Christians used their God-given gifts to praise our Creator and with those same voices created images and evoked an emotional response I had not anticipated. As the song developed, I simply found myself transported.
I Believe in the Sun is playing right now as you read this blog.....I hope you enjoy it.
